Course Navigation The course website is structured like a spiral notebook with section dividers. The navigation tabs on the right hand side of the page provide access to the different sections of the website. These navigation tabs are present on every page in the website. At the bottom of every page are two arrows. These arrows provide navigation between pages within a section. The right hand arrow takes you to the next page; the left hand arrow takes you to the previous page in the section (not necessarily the previously visited page). The welcome page, from which you reached this page, functions as the home page of the course. It can be reached from any page by clicking on the Welcome tab. The Syllabus tab gives access to the description and requirements of the course.
The Grading tab gives access to the grading criteria that will be used for the writing assignments of the course. The slides page, accessible from the Slides tab, provides a table of contents of all the course powerpoint presentations. The individual lectures and course material will require a generic login and password. This login and password is the same for all students in the course. The login and password will be supplied to you the first day of class. Navigation through the website is also facilitated by the picture of a small silver calf located at the top of each page. Clicking on the calf takes the browser to the previous page. (By the way, the calf was found in a small shrine built into the outer face of the Middle Bronze glacis at Ashkelon.) The "Home" icon at the bottom of every page will take you to my home page. |
