Midterm and Final Exams
The midterm and final exams will consist of slide identifications, identification of terms, short answer, and short essays. The indentifications and short answers will be graded as either correct or incorrect, though partial credit will be given for incomplete answers.
The essays will be graded on clarity of thesis, accuracy of content, and breadth of coverage. An essay will receive full points if it has a clear thesis addressing the essay question, and it accurately discusses the relevant material culture for supporting the thesis. Points will be deducted if the essay lacks a thesis and/or the content is inaccurate or incomplete.
