Call for Papers

The Canadian Society for Patristic Studies would like to announce its call for papers. The conference will be held June 3-5, 1999 at Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop’s University. Papers on all topics pertaining to Early Christianity are welcome. Abstracts, no longer than 150 words, should be submitted by January 31, 1999 to Pamela Bright, Program Chair, CSPS, 7400 Sherbrooke St. West, Sutton Square, #1102, Montreal QC, H4B 1R8, Canada

The two universities are set in the picturesque Eastern Townships of Quebec, just north of Vermont. The Canadian Society of Patristic Studies will be holding its conference in conjunction with the annual congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences Federation of Canada.

The Johns Hopkins University Press has a new technology person who is working closely with NAPS to establish some electronic services. Look for electronic access to JECS and an online directory soon. Currently we have a new electronic list. If you filled out the information sheet this Summer, you have been subscribed automatic-ally. Don’t forget, Patristics is posted online before the paper copy is in the mail. Members of the e-list will be notified when a new issue is published.
