Dr. Joan Mueller is a professor of theology and Christian spirituality at Creighton University and an internationally recognized expert in the history and theology of the early Franciscan movement. She has written books and numerous scholarly articles on Franciscanism and the related topics of forgiveness, reconciliation, and discernment. A user-friendly adaptation of this research can be found in Dr. Mueller's latest book, Clare of Assisi: The Letters to Agnes. In 1995, Dr. Mueller founded the Franciscan community, the Franciscan Sisters of Joy. The community presently has sisters in the United States and Canada. |
