 1. ZWINGLI: BIOGRAPHY & THEOLOGY

W.P. Stephens, Zwingli: An Introduction to His Thought (New York: Oxford University Press, 1994) paperback.  A fine study of the Swiss reformer and patriot.  Zwingli battled fiercely with Luther over the eucharist and with the Anabaptists over infant baptism.  An intriguing and controversial figure who gave the Swiss reformation its unique stamp.

Ulrich Gabler, Huldrych Zwingli: His Life and Work, trans. Ruth C.L. Gritsch (reprint of 1986 edition: Edinburgh: T&T Clark, 1999) paperback.

 3. MENNO SIMONS & THE ANABAPTISTS: STUDIES & TEXTS
