Public Speaking
I am happy to speak about New Testament texts and early Christianity or give Scripture-based retreats and days of reflection for groups beyond the Creighton community.
My availability, however, is limited by my commitments at the University;
therefore, those interested in scheduling such an event
are urged to contact me well in advance of the target date.

Further information on topics and procedures is provided below.

When a speaking engagement has been scheduled, a confirmation notice listing elements of the agreement (date, time, and format of presentation, title and description of the topic to be addressed) will be sent to the contact person. A curriculum vitae and/or brief "bio" will be provided upon request for purposes of introduction.

To inquire regarding my availability and fee for a particular event, contact scalef@creighton.edu or call 280-5807.

FYI:
Currently I do not accept invitations to speak on the Old Testament (aka the Hebrew Bible or First Testament), but I would be happy to recommend a colleague with expertise in that area.
