Communication & community-building
in a program of part-time students
present special challenges.

All students in the MA program in Theology
join "Koinonia,"
an on-line community space created
by the Program Director.
(Koinonia, pronounced Koy-no-NEE-ah,
is the Greek word for communion, fellowship.)
After creating a login and password
for themselves, students can enter
this community space from any computer
with access to the internet.

To facilitate communication
within the program,
the Director posts information
of various types (procedures,forms,
announcements & reminders, articles,
a calendar of events & deadlines,
lists of helpful links, polls, etc.).
Koinonia members are able to access
this information at any time,
communicate with fellow students,
post information that they think
of interest to members,
initiate discussions.
