The articles of the Journal of Religion & Society are copyrighted and must be treated like any other published articles. Agreement between the Author and the Journal of Religion & Society (JRS).Whereas the author has written an article (construed to include short notes, reviews, and any other material published in JRS) which the Author is sole owner of the contents thereof and of all right, title, and interest therein, it is agreed as follows: AssignmentThe Author hereby assigns to JRS the right to publish and distribute the said article and to create derivative work from said article. The assignment shall be effective so long as JRS is available on computer networks. Consent to publish in this journal entails the author's irrevocable and exclusive authorization of JRS to collect any sums or considerations for copying or reproduction payable by third parties and/or to act in or out of court in connection therewith. Style and Form of PublicationThe Author's name shall appear at the beginning of the article (following the title) of said article when published. Infringement of CopyrightThe Author agrees to hold JRS harmless for any unauthorized use of the article subsequent to its publication by JRS in an electronic or other medium. Any distribution or publication of said article by subscribers to JRS or others who obtain copies of it from the network or by any other means shall constitute an infringement of the Author's copyright.
